Abstract

In MATERIAL AND METALURGICAL RESEARCH LtD. we made a proposal, manufacturing and verification of oxygen-nitrogen nozzle. This nozzle is a part of a vacuum and pressurized induction melting furnace (VPIM) and it works at pressure 10-20 kPa(a). Experimental melt with increasing the nitrogen content in molten steel by nitrogen gas will be carried out at low pressure. First, we will use the oxygen-nitrogen nozzle and then we will use a porous block located at the bottom of the casting ladle.
