The paper presents quality control tests performed to monitor aluminum beverage can making process. The analysis comprises tests performed from the moment when the aluminum stripe is about to be fed into the line, to the moment when cans are packed in a palletizer. What is more, a general idea of a new test that is aimed at verification of formability of aluminum stripes, and results from first research based on both high-efficiency and problematic stripes, are also presented. Introducing the new test is believed to help increase efficiency of the line, but also influence stability of final parameters.Keywords: Aluminum beverage can, quality control, formability of aluminum stripes
