9th International congress CLC 2019 - Carpathian Logistics Congress was held on December 2 - 4, 2019 once again in beautiful Tatra Hotel, Zakopane, Poland, EU. From 102 registered and invited participants, 95 persons from the 5 countries attended the congress (14 participants from the Czech Republic, 65 from Poland, 12 from Slovakia, others from Germany and Nederlands). The participants presented 27 oral presentations and 47 posters. The congress was divided into 4 sessions and 1 poster sessions:

  • Plenary Session - Resilience Concept in Supply Chain Management
  • Session A - Supply Chain Management (SCM) Strategy and Planning
  • Session B - Primary Logistics Processes
  • Session C - Support Logistics Processes
  • Session D - Cross-Functional Logistics and Supply Chain Drivers
  • Poster session

The opening plenary lecture entitled "Validating a Decision Making Method basing on Technology and Knowledge Priorities for Sustainable Strategies for Innovative Start-ups" was performed by Prof. Josu Takala from University of Vaasa, Finland. The second plenary speaker Prof. Tadeusz Sawik from Department of Operations Research AGH University and National Disaster Preparedness Training Center University of Hawaii presented the invited lecture "Supply chain disruption management using multi-portfolio approach". The last plenary speaker Prof. Lech Bukowski from The University of Dabrowa Górnicza, Poland, presented the invited lecture "Ensuring supply continuity using an extended risk matrix. Can the proportion expressing the nature beauty support a risk assessment?".
